What’s the catch?
Like most trial offers, Spotify will require you to provide payment information to automatically renew your subscription at the end of the trial period. However, what Spotify doesn’t tell you is that you can cancel the auto-renewal subscription but keep Spotify Premium for the trial period!
How to get 30 days of Spotify Premium free!
- Head to the Spotify Premium free trial page and click the Try Premium button.
- Choose your payment method and click the Continue button.
- Complete the requirements for the trial by providing your payment information. When finished, Spotify will show you a receipt for $0.00 for enrolling in the free trial.
- Next, head over to the Spotify Cancellation page.
- Take a moment and tell Spotify why you’re canceling your subscription, and click the Cancel subscription button.
- To confirm your cancellation, Spotify will ask you to log into your Facebook account. Click the Cancel Spotify Premium subscription button.
- Spotify will now direct you to Facebook to log in. Enter your email and password for Facebook and click the Log In button.
- Your subscription will now be canceled, but you will still have access to Spotify Premium for the 30 days!
If you’ve canceled your subscription from auto-renewing, your Spotify account will revert back to Spotify Free after the 30 day trial. Use this time to listen take advantage of the features exclusive to Spotify Premium, and if you find it worth the monthly price, then re-subscribe and enjoy the ongoing benefits of Spotify Premium!
